The Weekend

So my Sister Heidi came down for the 4th of July! We spent time on the beach (photos will come later, they are on the other camera) and went to a Independence Day celebration. It was great having her here. Thanks for coming Heidi! Plus two cute videos of Cairo. The 1st is eat dinner Sunday night(Spaghetti Madness), and the 2nd is Bath Time.

Cairo Reading!

Cairo has now just started to enjoy books. He could never sit still long enough to read together. Now he will sit there and enjoy the story over and over! I love every minute of it! Last Sunday while we were getting ready for church Cairo started reading to himself. I hope the sound works!

Swimming Farmers

So the other week Owen, Cairo and I went to our local Farmer's Market. This was really fun! They had live bands, Carousel, train ride, shops, etc. Cairo's favorite part of course was the carousel, Mom and Dad just liked walking around. There were also yummy free samples!

Now the swimming half. Cairo, Owen and I have been going to the pool. A lot! 4 times just last week. Cairo has become very familiar with the pool and is not afraid of the water. He will climb right in if you are not watching. He has started to kick his legs and he puts his face in the water to blow bubbles! He is going to be a swimmer in no time at all.
