My Childhood home has just been sold. I grew up in Green River, Wyoming. I lived there my whole life and never once moved until college. My parents just sold it so they can retire to Utah. I am happy for them , but at the same time I feel like I am losing my home.
This is where I spent a lot of time doing homework, and cooking.
My stocking hung here every year, and my Dad built the fireplace. 
This room was my favorite in high school. After hours of ballet it was lovely to sit and relax and read in the tub. 
This pond was the best... I fell in in once when I was little and I was pretending to be a professional ice-skater. I would also sneak out at night to just sit by it and listen to the water. I know rebel kid sneaking out to sit alone by my pond. 
I loved to host parties or dates in my back yard. My parents always took really good care of it and I was always proud of my home. It will be missed.
